About us

Belize Mission Project
- we are a Christ-centered ministry that was started in 1991 primarily as a portable dental clinic ministry to rural Northern Belize, to the kids that have never seen a dentist."

Over the years, we developed outstanding relations with the Belizean Medical authorities. We now have easy access to the schools, allowing trained teams to enter with a Gospel message as well as deliver dental and medical services.

On June 30th, 2005, Belize Mission Project Chairman Cam Collins and Kathie Mann of PIM/UMVIM, Texas Conference, met with Rev. Dr. David Goff, the Methodist Bishop of Belize, who formally requested that Cam (a lifelong Methodist and the Belize Mission Project be the "Designated Project Manager" for all PIM/UMVIM teams coming into Belize, in order to:

  1. Aid in coordination and placement of teams onto PRIORITY construction projects,
  2. Increase communication between subsequent teams and avoid duplication of effort, and
  3. Therefore, expedite completion of much needed projects, many of which are lagging across the country.
